Lied Discovery Children's Museum is a leading educational and cultural institution in the metropolitan Las Vegas area, offering exciting and important learning experiences in the arts, sciences and humanities. With more than 100 innovative hands-on exhibits in 25,000 square feet, the Museum is one of the largest children's museums in the United States. LDCM offers staff-led tours and specialized field trips, and outreach programs.

Animal Ark is a wildlife sanctuary that shelters animal that do not have the skills to survive in the wild. These animals may be permanently disabled, orphaned, confiscated, or unwanted exotic pets. In many instances they would have been euthanized had there not been a facility option such as Animal Ark. Since 1982 Animal Ark has functioned as a nature center where education programs are taught to local school districts, private schools, day care centers, scouts and other groups. Viewing of the the live animal reinforces the learning experience. Visitors gain understanding and respect for things that are wild.

Nestled in the heart of the Las Vegas Valley, the Las Vegas Springs Preserve has been protected from urban growth by its owner and steward, the Las Vegas Valley Water District. The LVSP Foundation  and the Water District formed a public-private partnership to restore the Springs Preserve and to create a gathering place, where people can learn about the valley's history. The preserve will include museums, gardens, walking paths and restored structures that tell the story of Las Vegas' past.

The Southern Nevada Story! A history like nowhere else on earth! 
Live at the Clark County Museum, ten thousand years in the making. Before you reach the Age of Entertainment exhibits in the Museum's Exhibit Center, there are prehistoric dioramas, a pueblo of the ancient ones, Native American collections, and a walk-in mine filled with desert treasures. Tour restored historic homes and businesses from the early 20th century, view the collection of historic railroad cars and the Boulder City depot, visit mobile America, and wander the nature trail to a resurrected ghost town. Come step into the past at the Clark County Museum! The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is a private, non-profit, community-supported institution whose goal is to develop an appreciation and understanding of wildlife past and present, and to promote the conservation and protection of wildlife and its natural environment.
