Green Schools
So far as is known, there is no Green Schools Program in Nevada, nor any schools that have achieved Green School certification from national sources. So, for the time being, this is a collections of links for those interested in Green Schools.
Safe Routes to School (SRTS): This program, which started in Marin County, has a counterpart in Nevada, sponsored by the Nevada Department of Transportation. The idea is to encourage students to walk and bicycle to school, while meeting parent concerns about safety.
