Field Trips!
NNREC strongly supports the value of field trips, and we have a page that teachers, administrators, destination staff, and other educators can use to demonstrate the value. NNREC does not offer field trips itself, but works to support field trip destinations and programs offered by our partners.
Field Trip Grant Program
NNREC offers grants to classrooms for field trips in our Field Trip Fund for Kids: Learning Beyond the Classroom program.
Donations: $5 = one student
NNREC actively seeks donations for the field trip grant program. Though field trip costs vary with distance and duration, the basic calculus is $5 = one field trip for one student. If you are an agency, nonprofit organization, foundation or business who would like your donation recognized, or to set any geographic or other criteria, please contact us directly (, 775-882-2375) rather than using this donation button.
A Field Trip Flier explains why you might want to donate to the program!
Click on the Network for Good icon on the left to start your donation process. Please put "field trip" in the "Designation" field. Donations without a designation go to our endowment fund.
If you wish to donate "offline," send checks payable to NNREC, to NNREC Field Trip, PO Box 4741, Carson City NV 89702, and put "field trip" in the memo field on your check.
