Chronology
1986
- formation of the EE Executive Leadership Committee in northern Nevada at the EE Planning Workshop at Galena Creek (people known to be involved are: Sue Jacox, Jim Bradley, Shirley Pollock, Suzanne Smiley, Greg Kniseley, Mark Kimbrough, Bob Goodman, Karen Mullen, Sandy Sullivan)
- similar activities were going on in southern Nevada (people known to be involved are: Carol Ward, Frank Tepper)
- 1st meeting of the "Nevada Environmental Education Council" (Laura Baron, Greg Knisely, Jim Bradley, Alicia Merryman, Bob Goodman, Shirley Pollock, Sue Jacox, Suzanne Smiley, Mark Kimbrough)
- 1st Nevada Outdoor Education Workshop, Camp We-Ch-Me (ran through 1995 at We-Ch-Me and Nevada 4-H Camp
1987
- ? active program of Project WILD workshops started

1988
- Articles of Incorporation (signed by James Rathbun, Dan Allison, Frank Tepper, John Jones, Becky Bell) and Bylaws
- became a 501(c)3 organization
